Healthcare Technology Consultant

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a professional Technology Consultant with a medical background/experience to join our successful and expanding company. We integrate low voltage communication and workflow systems in hospitals. We need someone with one of the following backgrounds:

  • Hospital – Nursing, BioMed, IT, IS, Quality Care, Risk Management, Facilities
  • Engineering Firm – Low Voltage System Design
  • Medical Software Sales
  • Medical Equipment Sales
  • General Contractor/Electrical - Project Management
  • Low Voltage System Engineering, Sales, Service, Installation

What will you sell for Halco?

What do we expect of you?

We expect you to hit the ground running. You will generates revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services. In summary, we expect the customer to know you, like to do business with you, and trust that you will deliver a solution to solve their issues.

What are your duties?

  1. Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts.
  2. Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  3. Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
  4. Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
  5. Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
  6. Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
  7. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  8. Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  9. Must love technology and be willing to learn and adapt to the industry

What Skills/Qualifications are we looking for?

If you love problem solving and looking at different issues everyday this is the place for you. Our job is to develop solutions for hospitals and then present that solution in a very simple manner. We use six sigma principals to develop these solutions - What is the current state, what product or process can we recommend, how do we implement, and how can we measure the results?

To accomplish all this you must have a strong foundation. So what are we looking for?

  • Must understand Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Must Love Technology – iphone, ipad, tablet computing
  • Strong Presentation and People skills
  • Internal Communications, Informing Others, Verbal Communication, Closing Skills
  • Someone that has Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, and is Persistence
  • Someone that is goal driven and will not settle for complacency

Perfered Education Level:

Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 2 to 5 years real world work experience
